Friday Five – Things I’m Loving #31

Happy Friday! How was your week? Mine was pretty uneventful, but I’m picking up one of my best friends at the airport in a couple hours! Ready for the weekend!

Let’s dive in to my Five!

Wine. All the Time.

The tagline of this book by Marissa Ross is “the Casual Guide to Confident Drinking.” It’s teaching me so much about wine, all in her hilarious and somewhat-raunchy style! If you’re interested in growing beyond a cheap bottle of wine and actually know what you like, you need to check this out.

Ollie smiles

I shared some scary health stuff going on with my nephew a few weeks ago. Well, he’s finally going home today (!!!), but more importantly he’s mostly back to his smiley self! I’m loving the happy photos from my sister and couple hours of play time we had last weekend. Thoughts and prayers still requested as he continues to heal at home!

Eucalyptus

Trader Joe’s had several kinds of eucalyptus for $3 per bunch last weekend. It looks so pretty and smells so good! I think we’re gonna use it quite a bit for the wedding. I love the muted green color and how it reminds me of a spa.

Pretty Big Deal

My aunt recommended this podcast and I’m so glad I checked it out! Ashley Graham is a great role model and has really good conversations with a big variety of celebs, friends, or anyone else who’s a “pretty big deal.” I recommend starting with her recent episodes with the founders of theSkimm and Demi Lovato to get a taste. Dark, matte nails

I raved about imPress stick-on nails in my very first Friday Five and I haven’t stopped wearing them since! Honestly, I don’t think I’ve gone more than a few days without a set on for almost a year. This week, I have dark navy blue ones with a matte finish and love the look!

Okay that’s it this week! Have a fantastic weekend, friends!

What are you reading or listening to these days?
