I’m back! It’s been quite a while since I’ve blogged or shared a Friday Five. Between the minimony, honeymoon, moving into our first house, and juggling two positions at work, blogging has kind of dropped down my priority list. But I miss it! So here I am, sharing a few things I’m into this week.

Wayfair
A new house means lots of new furniture and I’ve had so much fun decorating our new space! The majority of purchases were from Wayfair.com. Their site and app have good filter and search tools to find the perfect piece – and reasonable prices! Yes, this means a lot of assembly required, but I don’t really mind. Some favorite new pieces are our living room rug and dining room table and bench. Wayfair often has some good sales and open-box deals, too.
Cordless Dyson stick vacuum
I’m mildly obsessed with this Dyson stick vacuum. I registered for a V7 model because 1. it’s hot pink and 2. I read in reviews that it’s just as good as some newer models but slightly less expensive. I use it every single day – it’s so convenient, light, and powerful.
Mabel Gray
Hugh and I went to Mabel Gray down the street from us for a special dinner date to celebrate both our promotions this week. We each had the tasting menu with the drink pairings which is 8 courses and 7 mini drink pours to go with. It was incredible. Like some of the best food we’ve ever had, at least in a very long time. We got reservations on the heated patio and loved the ambiance, too.
The Friend Zone and The Happily Ever After Playlist
This book series by Abby Jimenez is so cute! The first book, The Friend Zone, is about one friend and the second (which is even better), The Happily Ever After Playlist, is about her best friend. The third comes out next April and I’m already so excited.
This Tuscan lentil soup recipe
Soup is a go-to in the fall and winter, especially ones loaded with veggies! This recipe from Life Made Simple is easy and delicious and I love the heartiness of the lentils and potatoes. Try it this week!
Okay that’s five! I’m so happy to be back sharing what’s going on in my life and what I’m loving on here. Keep an eye out for more posts!
