Happy Friday! Let’s pretend it hasn’t been over 18 months since I did one of these, okay? I want to share some things I have been loving these days. I will stick with five (gotta stay on theme), with some rapid fire bonuses at the end.
My Stanley tumbler
It’s trendy, but I’m really loving my 40 oz. Stanley tumbler. I also love this silicone boot for the bottom that helps it not make loud noises on tables and not too over as much.
Rent the Runway Monthly Membership
All spring I loved my RTR monthly subscription. I got 5 items at a time usually and could exchange twice per month. It was so much fun trying out trendy and designer pieces I wouldn’t typically splurge on (a hot pink dress just for my birthday dinner and fun, sparkly blazer dress I wore out one night for example). I even used it to borrow a formal dress for a gala in Florida for work. I was just starting to show and wasn’t sure what would fit or not, so this flowy option was perfect. Pregnancy (if this is a shock, check out my announcement post here) is why I’ve paused the subscription for now, but I highly recommend trying it out (you can get a discount – and I get a little something – with this link if you want to get in on the action).
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour
This tour is my sport. I did not realize how much of a sensation it would be and how much I would get sucked into following everything on Instagram or I would have tried to get tickets the first time around! It’s so much fun to be part of a community and learn about all the little Easter eggs on her posts. Some friends and I are trying to go in Indy on the second US leg next fall (very disappointed I don’t have a code to get tickets today) and I’m crossing my fingers for the documentary to come out soon. She’s so talented and the production (and costumes!) leaves me in awe every glance I get in a video. Definitely loving getting swept up in the hype.
Dip Powder Nails
I enthusiastically recommended imPress nails for many years (they even made it in my Friday Five All-Stars post), but I am fully converted to dip powder nails. Yes, it’s a pain to get to the salon every 2-3 weeks and yes, they’re more expensive. But totally worth it to me right now.
Capital one Venture X Card
We’ve had the Capital One Venture X card for a little more than a year now and it’s been a great travel reward credit card. We actually used points earned on it to book our trip to Paris in February and the Capital One Lounge in DFW is hands-down my favorite airport lounge (the decor, the mini dishware with delicious food, the oak milk cold brew lattes on tap, the Peloton bikes *swoon*). Yes, it’s quite the annual fee, but we use the perks and it’s worth it to us. (Highly suggest checking out Nerd Wallet when considering credit cards , including one of their posts on the Venture X card).
Okay, that’s five, but it’s been so long, I need to add some honorable mentions. Maybe this is a Friday Fifteen post?
