Happy Friday, friends! This week flew by for me and today came way faster than I expected. This weekend, I’m going with my sister, her babies, my cousin and her toddler, aunt, and my mom to my aunt’s in Myrtle Beach, SC. I’m so excited for some family time! What are you up to this weekend? I hope it’s great!
Paleo Pumpkin Muffins
I made these paleo pumpkin mini muffins last weekend and loved having the little bites sized snacks all week. They’re gf and not super sweet, and take like 5 minutes to make. Yesterday, I made them as full-sized muffins to take with me this weekend. Yum!
The Jasmine Star Show
Jasmine Star is a new-found inspiration for me and she just started a podcast this month! It’s a business podcast targeted towards small business owners with a social media and online presence, but Jasmine shares so much valuable content that can applied beyond just business. I really enjoy her content online and this podcast is no exception.
Gratitude
Since August, I’ve been incorporating a daily gratitude practice into my morning routine. It’s simply writing down 5 things I’m grateful for. They range for profound things like an able body to random things like my cute coffee mug. And that’s the point – to recognize things we’re grateful no matter how random and small to start the day with that mindset. It’s part of Rachel Hollis’ Start Today journaling, but even just alone it can be powerful and takes about 2 minutes!
Thrive Market Hazelnut Coffee Grounds
I love hazelnut coffee. I actually considered calling this blog Hazel Eyes & Hazelnut Coffee I like it so much! But it’s pretty hard as I’m starting to care more about what’s in the things I’m consuming to find flavored coffee that’s not super fake. I’m so happy I found Thrive Market’s grounds! They’re organic but reasonably priced and taste so yummy. You can use my referral link for 25% off your first order, free shipping, and a trial membership to Thrive Market (I could get a small commissioning you end up signing up). I talk more about what Thrive Market is in my Friday Five #
Headspace
Headspace is a meditation app I started using in January. I’ll admit, I don’t use it daily, but always feel so much better when I do! The guy’s voice is so easy to listen to and follow if you’re new to meditating. The sessions can be as short as 3 minutes to much longer. They even have sleep casts that wall you through shutting down and drifting off to sleep. I highly recommend trying it! This link gives you 14 days free so you can see what it’s all about.
Okay that’s five! Just in time, because I need to deboard this plane. Have a good weekend!
What are YOU loving this week?
Did you try something new this week? What’s making you smile these days? I’d love to hear about it!
