Happy (Good) Friday! Honestly, I almost forgot to write the post – all my days run together right now. In case you missed it, I’m down in Indiana helping launch production of critically-needed ventilators. It’s long hours and living in a hotel room, but it’s really exciting work! I’m so happy to be involved in such a good cause and amazing career opportunity.
I hope you’re doing okay through these insane times. Remember to reach out to each other and stick together. We’ll get through this.
Panera’s Toasted Frontega Chicken sandwich
I brought a bunch of food to the hotel so I could avoid getting take out as much as possible, but I’ve gotten this sandwich from Panera three times since last week! I get extra smoked chicken and it’s delicious. They bring it right to your car now and you can order from the app. Highly recommend.
My new Start Today journal
I start every morning with a gratitude practice and writing down ten dreams as if I’ve already made them happen. I started in a regular notebook, but the Hollis Company’s journals are so pretty and convenient to fill in! Isn’t the leopard print cute? They have how to videos now explaining how to do this journal practice if you’re interested!
The First Photo Together Challenge
Throughout this pandemic, a lot of little challenges have popped up on Instagram stories. This week, the one I saw going around was to post the first photo you took with your significant other. I loved seeing couples looking like babies.
Justin’s Cinnamon Almond Butter packets
I’ve been all over the place working on this project and needed snacks on the go. These almond butter packets are just sweet enough and keep me full until the next chance at a meal. They’re also good on apples and bananas or mixed into oatmeal.
My Easter egg bowl
I legitimately wait all year to bring out this white and gold bowl I have shaped like an Easter egg. I’m not sure if it’s the great size and depth of it or how cute it is, but it always brings me joy.
What brings you joy?
I’d love to hear what’s making you smile during these weird days. Comment below with something happy!
