Friday Five – Things I’m Loving #53

Happy (Good) Friday! Hugh and I are on our way Up North to spend the holiday weekend with my family.

It’s been so long since I’ve done a Friday Five, but I’m back! I kept my list going even when I wasn’t blogging, so I may need to do a catch-up Friday Fifteen or something one of these days LOL. For now, here’s five things I’m into this week.

Villainous

My sister and brother-in-law introduced us to this Disney-villain-based strategy board game a few months ago and now we are obsessed. You can mix and match villains from the base game of six and expansion pack, so it’s different every time! Hugh and I have three expansion packs, so nine villains total. We even play with friends over Zoom! Highly recommend.

Bathroom mirror frame

My dad made us this really pretty, stained wooden frame for our powder room mirror. I put up peel-and-stick wallpaper about a month ago, but the frame makes the room look so much more put together! I love it.

The Boss

I somehow missed this 2016 Melissa McCarthy movie, but watched it last night with Hugh. It’s so funny and cute! Some Troop Beverly Hills vibes for sure.

Kendra Scott

I’ve been accumulating Kendra Scott jewelry for year now – you can almost guarantee I’m wearing at least one piece of hers if I have jewelry on! During your birthday month, you can get 50% off something in-store, so I made my way to the mall before the end of March this week. My in-laws very graciously gave me a big gift card for my birthday and it was so much fun picking things out!

Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead podcast

I’ve been really into Brené Brown’s work for about a year now. She has a couple different podcasts, the newest being Dare to Lead. She’s a researcher, author, and speaker that studies topics like vulnerability, shame, courage, and empathy. Her books and special on Netflix is also great.

Okay that’s my five for the week! I’d love to hear about what you’ve been loving, too. Comment below or reach out!
