Happy Friday! I’m starting this post a little later than I usual do – it’s been a kind of crazy week! Sweet potato chipotle chili is on the stove and my plan for the night after this is to warm up some spiced wine to watch Hocus Pocus. All the fall/Halloween vibes, please.
Okay here we go!
The Enneagram
I’ve mentioned being an Enneagram 1 in a few posts, but I’m still loving learning more about it! If you’re not familiar with this personality tool, it’s really having a moment. With this explosion of popularity, a lot of people are putting out really inaccurate information. First off, taking a test is not a good way to determine your number. If you’re at all interested in this kid of thing, I suggest reading The Road Back to You by Ian Cron and Suzanne Stubile or listening to the EnneaSummer series on Annie F. Downs’ podcast That Sounds Fun. I’ve experienced so much growth from learning about how many different ways there are to see the world. My relationships (with others and myself) have seriously benefited from digging into this tool.
My Buick Envision
I’m getting ready to turn in my Envision because my lease is ending and it’s making me appreciate how great of vehicle it is! I’m obsessed with my light blonde colored seats and really hope I can find another Buick that have them (I think I’m downsizing to an Encore next).
Being an aunt
Aren’t my niece and nephew the cutest?! We all spent last weekend in Myrtle Beach with my aunts, cousin, and her 2-year-old son. Ella is 2 and a half and Ollie is almost 9 months. They are teaching me so much and are just great. I get to babysit them for a few hours tomorrow – moving closer to family was a great decision.
These Amazon slippers
Jen from the Sister Studio has never-ending recommendations for clothes and shoes and products. I have to be careful or I end up buying things I don’t need! But I’m so happy I got these slippers on Amazon. Highly recommend. Also loving these Halloween socks lol.
Arrowhead leather earrings
It’s Red Friday for Chiefs Nation! I try to represent (subtly) from up here. I love these earrings I just got from a KC small business Boss Queen. They have two arrowhead designs and tons of others! Leather earrings are so cute and lighter than most statement earrings. My girl Shanna at Wellness For the Win has a discount code for 25% off (WELLNESS25) if you’re interested! In my post this week, I shared simple steps for organizing your jewelry – see if you can guess where I keep these now.
That’s it for this week! Have a fantastic fall weekend!
What are YOU loving these days?
Have you gotten any cute new things recently? I’d love to hear your recommendations! Do you have nieces or nephews? Let’s chat!
