Friday Five – Things I’m Loving #46

Happy Friday, friends! How was your week? Mine was a mix of fun things and tough decisions (read my post about the decision here). Now that we’ve officially postponed the wedding celebration, I feel a huge sense of relief and can focus on getting excited for the summer! The weather has been beautiful and I’m so ready.

Without further ado, here is this week’s Five.

Leopard print leggings

I got these leggings on Amazon last week and love them. The cut reminds me of Balance Athletica leggings (super flattering), but these are only $30!

Caprese salads with heirloom tomatoes

Heirloom tomato season is the best. I could eat this kind of salad every day and not get sick of it.

“Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man”

These videos by Emmanuel Acho are really powerful and really well done. The ex-NFL-player had a large platform and is using it to spotlight hard conversations about racism. Only two episodes are out right now, but he’s releasing more at least once a week. Highly recommend checking them out.

All Things Reconsidered by Knox McCoy

Knox is one of the host of one of my favorite podcasts, the Popcast with Knox & Jamie. His new book released last week and I finished within a few days of receiving it. He doesn’t tell you what to believe, but encourages his readers to think about why they think what they think and constantly reconsider. His super entertaining voice shines through in his writing and it was both thought-provoking and hilarious.

Queer Eye Season 5

I adore Queer Eye, don’t you? I’m almost done with the new season and there are some really great people/episodes! The Fab Five are so uplifting and fun.

Okay that’s it for this week! Gotta finish getting ready for our friends to come for dinner on the balcony. Happy weekend!

What are you doing this weekend?

Are you venturing out to a restaurant yet? Tackling a project at home? Getting some sun? I’d love to hear what you’re up to! Comment below.
