Buying a house
Hugh and I closed on our first house today! We gave the seller 30 days of occupancy, so we’ll get the keys right around the wedding. It feels so adult and kind of unreal! Expect lots of house projects and decorating posts this winter and spring – we’re super excited to make this feel like our own.
inBooze Infusion Kits
I saw InBooze on a list of Black-owned Etsy stores and was very intrigued by their infusion kits for a bunch of delicious-sounding drinks. They’re kind of like big tea bags filled with dried fruits and spices that you seep in liquor for several days to easily mix up cocktails! I got the Spicy Margarita infusion kit and love it with lime LaCroix. Much easier than keeping jalapeños and everything on hand.
Selling Sunset
I’m a little late to the party on this Netflix show about LA realtors, but I’m diving in now! The houses they show are absolutely stunning and the ladies are so glamorous. Reality TV can be such a guilty pleasure.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
This book is heartbreaking, but so so good. It follows a small-town girl who becomes the caretaker of a hot-shot businessman who became a quadrapudligic in a motorcycle accident. It’s actually part of a trilogy, but I’m taking a break in between books to avoid not being able to put a book (or my Kindle app) down.
These camo biker shorts
I finally gave in to the biker short trend and got this pair of dark green camo ones on Amazon. They’re like really comfy, high-waisted, and great for hot weather! I got a Medium so they wouldn’t be tight on my thighs. This company has some great, flattering leggings, too (like the leopard print ones I mentioned in FF#46).
